Designed for eco-conscious or eco-curious people who want to align their landscape with their values, our Yard Wellness Check objectively evaluates your outdoor space, and gives us a shared understanding of how your landscape is functioning today — ecologically and practically — so we can recommend the right next step for your space, goals, and existing conditions.
What the Yard Check includes:
Pre-meeting questionnaire
45-minute on-site walkthrough
Review of existing plants, structure, and management practices
Evaluation of habitat value, resilience, and opportunities for improvement
A one-page summary with key observations and priorities
A clear recommendation for your next step

What happens next?
After your Yard Check, we’ll guide you toward one of three paths:
Native Plant Combinations
If your yard has open planting areas, edges, or underused space, we’ll recommend one of our pre-designed Native Plant Combinations — an easy way to add habitat, beauty, and structure. [Link?]
Field Design Refresh
If your landscape is already established but needs refinement, we’ll recommend a Field Design Refresh — an on-site planting plan that integrates native plants into what you already have. [Link?]
Refer Out
Sometimes the most responsible recommendation is to refer you to another professional, such as a landscape architect, contractor, or specialist, if your needs fall outside Wilder’s scope. Wilder’s goal is clarity and alignment, not forcing a fit.
